These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of Tabl0's table-ordering and café-management platform, including the website, ordering pages reached via QR code (tabl0.com/t/{cafe}/{table}), the Café Console, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by [Tabl0 legal entity name], a company registered in [jurisdiction] under registration number [registration number], with registered address at [registered address] ("Tabl0", "we", "us", "our").
By creating a café account, placing an order through the Service, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business, and "you" refers to that business as well as the individual.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
Tabl0 provides:
Tabl0 is a software platform. We are not a restaurant, food preparation business, or payment institution. Cafés using Tabl0 are independent businesses solely responsible for the food, beverages, pricing, and service they provide.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create a café account. Customers placing orders do not need to create a persistent account; optional sign-in for loyalty tracking is via one-time phone verification.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at [security contact email] if you suspect unauthorized access.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information, violate these Terms, or are used fraudulently.
If you operate a café using Tabl0, you agree that:
When you place an order through Tabl0:
Cafés may choose between billing plans made available in the Café Console, which currently include:
Current rates and prices are shown in the Café Console's Billing tab and on our pricing page, and may be changed by us with reasonable advance notice to active subscribers. Subscription fees are billed in advance; what is and is not refunded, for cafés and for customers, is set out in our Refund Policy. Failure to pay may result in reversion to the default plan or suspension of paid features.
Tabl0 does not directly process, store, or have access to full payment card numbers. All customer order payments and café subscription payments are processed by third-party payment gateways selected by the café or by Tabl0 (currently including Paymob, Kashier, PayTabs, Fawry, and Stripe, depending on the gateway a café has connected). Each gateway operates under its own terms of service and privacy policy, and by making or accepting a payment through the Service you also agree to the applicable gateway's terms.
Tabl0 is not responsible for the acts, omissions, security practices, or availability of third-party payment gateways. Disputes over a specific charge, refund, or failed payment should first be raised with the relevant gateway's support, and we will assist in good faith where we reasonably can.
Loyalty programs (punch-card or points-based rewards) are configured independently by each participating café. Reward terms, thresholds, and eligibility are set by the café, not Tabl0. Tabl0 provides the technical infrastructure to track and redeem rewards but does not guarantee any specific reward will remain available, and is not responsible for a café's decision to modify or discontinue its loyalty program.
You agree not to:
Tabl0 is a halal-only platform. Cafés using the Service may not sell, list, advertise, or fulfil orders for:
Non-alcoholic and halal alternatives — non-alcoholic malt drinks, mocktails, and beef, turkey, or chicken substitutes — are permitted, and you are encouraged to name them clearly (for example "beef bacon" rather than "bacon") so they are not mistaken for prohibited items.
When you register a café you confirm that it complies with this section. We screen menu content for prohibited items and review matches manually before taking any action; a café found to be in breach may have its account suspended or terminated under Section 15, and a café that confirmed compliance while selling prohibited items is also providing false information under Section 6. If your café is suspended, you will be able to sign in to see the reason and contact us to appeal.
Tabl0 and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including its software, design, and branding. Cafés retain ownership of the menu content, photos, and branding they upload, and grant Tabl0 a limited license to display that content as part of operating the Service on their behalf.
The Service relies on third-party infrastructure and providers, including but not limited to Supabase (database, authentication, and backend functions), Cloudflare (hosting, content delivery, and bot protection via Turnstile), and the payment gateways described in Section 7. Availability of the Service is dependent on these providers, and we are not liable for outages or issues originating from them.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tabl0 and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the platform fees paid by the relevant café to Tabl0 in the three months preceding the claim, or (b) [amount, e.g. 1,000 EGP].
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
You agree to indemnify and hold Tabl0 harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right, including claims related to food safety, tax compliance, or customer data handling for which you are responsible as a café operator.
You may stop using the Service, or close your café account, at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms, non-payment, suspected fraud, or as required by law. On termination of a café account, we will provide a reasonable opportunity to export menu, order, and customer data before deletion, except where immediate termination is required for security or legal reasons.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [governing city, e.g. Cairo], Egypt, except where mandatory consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified to café account holders by email or in-console notice at least [e.g. 14 days] before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Questions about these Terms can be sent to [legal/support contact email].
