Sign up and create your café
- Open tabl0.com/console and choose Create an account. Enter your email and a password, tick the terms, and confirm the email we send you. You can also continue with Google or Apple.
- The wizard opens on Your café. Fill in: café name; what kind of place it is (café, restaurant, bakery, other); governorate and city; street address, phone and a website or social link (optional); and how many tables you have (1 to 100, 10 by default).
- Press Continue. The café, its tables (T1, T2, …) and their QR codes exist from this moment. Prices are in EGP.
- Step 2, Menu: pick a starter menu, copy one from another café on your account, import Excel or CSV, import from a photo (beta), or add a category and an item by hand. One item is enough to continue.
- Step 3, You're live: scan the sample QR with your phone to see the ordering page, print all QR codes, then go to the dashboard.
Everything else, from opening hours to payments, is on the dashboard checklist. The next lessons follow that checklist in order.
Tables, QR cards and table service
- Open Tables. Each table has a code (T1) and an optional display name (Window, Garden 2). Add tables, rename them, or deactivate ones you no longer use.
- Press Print all QR codes. The sheet has one card per table with your logo in the middle and "Powered by tabl0.com"; there is no web address to mistype.
- Once Pickup is on, the pickup QR and link appear on the same page for stickers, cups and your Instagram bio.
- In Settings → Table service, choose what happens when a table order is ready: We bring it to the table (the guest is told it is on its way and staff get a push naming the table) or Guest collects at the counter.
Opening hours, pickup and curbside
- Settings → Opening hours: set opening and closing times for each day, or mark a day closed. Leave every day unset to accept orders around the clock. Hours stop orders arriving while you are shut and drive the pickup times customers can choose.
- Settings → Pickup orders: switch on Accept pickup orders. Options: Let customers order ahead (off, or up to N minutes ahead); Pickup time slots (every N minutes); Max orders per slot (no limit or a number). Customers sign in with their phone before a pickup order paid at the counter.
- Switch on Bring orders to the car to offer curbside, and write Where to park in English and Arabic. Customers add their car at checkout and tap "I'm here" on arrival.
Branding, appearance, location and reviews
- Settings → Store details: logo, cover photo, primary and accent colours (they colour the ordering page and the apps), address, phone, and the café's link and currency.
- Settings → Appearance: the console's own theme (auto, crema, noir, parchment, slate, midnight, garden, contrast) and the style of the dashboard tool tiles. This changes only what your team sees.
- Settings → Café location: press Use my current location while standing in the café so the customer app can show you in "near me".
- Settings → Reviews & social: your Google review link, Instagram and Facebook. They are shown only to a customer who just said their order went well.
Payments, fees, VAT and tax invoices
- Settings → Business & legal: legal name, commercial register and tax ID. Tabl0 verifies these before online payments can be switched on; the status shows here.
- Settings → Payments: choose a provider (Paymob, Kashier, PayTabs or Fawry), pick sandbox or production, and paste the keys from your provider's dashboard. Once connected, customers can pay online and the kitchen sees an order only after it is paid. Disconnect at any time to go back to pay-at-counter.
- Settings → Service fee & VAT: both off by default. Add a service fee percentage; add VAT with a rate and say whether your menu prices already include it. The service fee is calculated first, then VAT.
- Settings → Tax invoices (Egyptian Tax Authority): enable, choose self-managed or Tabl0-managed, enter your tax number, branch code, activity code, environment and credentials, and give every item a tax type and code in the Menu. Recent receipts and their status appear below.
Staff, roles, permissions and security
- Settings → Staff: enter an email and choose a role. Kitchen gets the Queue; Cashier gets the Register; Supervisor gets both. Tick or untick individual permissions (take orders, kitchen queue, manage menu, view reports, manage billing) before sending.
- The invite arrives by email with a link to set a password. Pending invites show as such; you can edit permissions, give a display name, or remove a person later. Sign-in history is listed per person.
- Staff install Tabl0 Business and sign in with that email. Owners can also send a one-time code instead of a password.
- Settings → Password & security: change your password and turn on two-step verification by scanning the QR with an authenticator app. The apps can then use Face ID or fingerprint.
Plan limits: Starter allows 3 staff per café, Growth 11, Enterprise unlimited.
Set up the loyalty programme
- Open Loyalty and press Edit. Choose the base: Stamp card or Cashback.
- Stamp card options: count a stamp per qualifying drink or per order; items needed; the reward, either the cheapest qualifying drink free or a fixed credit in EGP; reward description in both languages; max rewards banked; reset progress after 3, 6 or 12 months of inactivity, or never.
- Cashback options: cashback percentage; spend from (the minimum credit before it can be used); max percentage of an order that credit may cover.
- Boosters, each on its own switch: Welcome bonus (stamps or credit on joining); Birthday treat (credit, window in days, text in both languages); Referrals (stamps or credit for the member and for the friend); Tiers (rank by visits or spend over a rolling window; per tier a name, threshold, bonus stamps per order or cashback multiplier, and a perk text).
- Write the programme terms in both languages, check the preview of what members see, and save. The programme applies to new orders at once.
- Check the note under the builder: it lists the categories that earn stamps. If none does, mark your drinks category in the Menu.
- Insights shows new and active members, member share of orders, stamps and rewards, credit issued and outstanding, referrals, tier mix and top members. Members lists everyone who joined, with orders, spend, birthday and marketing opt-in.
Notifications and customer messages
- Settings → Notifications: per account, not per café. Order alerts are always on; Product news and Offers are off unless you turn them on. In the apps, allow notifications when asked.
- Settings → Customer messages: WhatsApp order updates with an SMS fallback and a monthly spend cap. This shows Coming soon until the channels open; nothing is charged meanwhile.
- Customers already get updates for free: on the ordering page, by push in the Tabl0 app, and by email when they type one at checkout, at four moments: received, ready, cancelled, and the receipt.
Install the Business app
- Install Tabl0 Business from the App Store or Google Play and sign in with your console email, or with a one-time code sent to it.
- Owners land on Today (sales, orders, live queue, trend, top sellers, customers, feedback), with Orders, Menu and More alongside. Kitchen staff open straight into the Queue, cashiers into the Register, supervisors get both.
- The account menu (top right) switches café for owners with several, and offers All cafés on Today and Orders.
- More → Settings: language (English or Arabic, applied at once), Face ID or fingerprint, notification choices. More → Help centre opens this documentation.
Running a shift: Queue, Register and Orders
Queue
- Tickets arrive in Pending. Tap Start to move one to Preparing, Ready when done, then Served, Picked up or Taken to car. On iPad the three lanes sit side by side; on a phone swipe between them.
- The timer turns amber and red past the item's prep time. Notes and the customer's car show on the ticket.
- Tap a line to void, waste, remake, replace or comp it, choosing how many units and a reason. Undo within 15 minutes by tapping the struck line.
- ✕ cancels the whole order with a reason. "Just served" lets you move a ticket back.
Register
- Tap items and options, set quantities, add a table code or a note.
- For a member, scan their card QR or type the member code; redeem a reward or credit if they have one. Invite a new customer with the invite QR.
- Choose cash or card (card asks for the terminal reference), add the customer's email so they get the updates and the receipt, and complete the order. It goes to the Queue like any other.
Orders
- Step through days with the arrows and filter by All, Active, Served or Cancelled. Open an order for its full detail, move its status back, fix a line, or cancel it.
Dashboard, checklist and Reports
- The Dashboard shows today at a glance (sales, orders, average order, active orders, cancelled, orders waiting on payment), the live queue, the 14-day trend, top sellers, customers this week, insights and customer feedback. The Get your café ready checklist sits at the top until you hide it.
- Reports: choose today, 7 days, 30 days or a custom range. Every plan: net and gross sales, discounts, amount collected, orders, day close, cash-up (enter the opening float and counted cash to see the variance), sales by item and by category, how customers paid, cancelled orders with reasons, and waste, voids and comps.
- Growth adds channel and staff mix, stock and days of cover, busiest hours, daily trend and table performance. Enterprise adds customer intelligence: unique, new and returning customers, repeat rate, top spenders.
- Export the report to Excel or PDF from the console; the apps export a CSV.
Billing
- Billing shows your plan, trial days left, cafés and staff used against the limits, and what each tier includes. Press Switch to on a tier and pay monthly or yearly by card, wallet or Fawry; you can pay during the trial to lock the price.
- Invoices and receipts are listed below with their tax-invoice status. Custom charges from Tabl0 support, if any, appear with a Pay now button.
- When a trial or plan ends, a 7-day grace period keeps ordering running; after it, editing pauses until a plan is chosen. Reminders arrive by email and push 7, 3 and 1 day before.
Adding branches
- In the console, open the Organisation view (Overview, Branches, Menu, Loyalty, Team, Billing). Press Add a branch; in the app, More → Organisation → Add a branch.
- The new branch is created with the same three steps as your first café and inherits its logo, colours, theme and settings. Choose to start it from the master menu.
- Keep the shared menu under Organisation → Menu and push changes to branches. Each branch keeps its own tables, hours, staff and payments.
- Switch between cafés from the account menu. Today and Orders offer All cafés; loyalty and billing are shared by the whole account.
What your customer does
- Scan the table card. The welcome screen shows your logo, a language choice, and two buttons: order on the web or get the app.
- Browse the menu by category, open an item, choose its options and quantity, and add it. Sold-out items and options are hidden or marked.
- Checkout: review the cart, add a note, optionally an email for updates; for pickup choose a time and, if offered, "bring it to my car" with the car details; sign in with a phone code when the café needs it; use a loyalty reward or credit; pay online or at the counter.
- Track: the order page shows the status live, the pickup number, and "I'm here" for curbside. When it is done they can rate the visit and, if it went well, see your review and social links.
- Loyalty: join with one tap, get the member code and QR, add the card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, share a referral link, and watch stamps or cashback grow.
- The app adds a café directory and "near me", order history and reorder, favourites, saved cars, push notifications, Google and Apple sign-in, language, and account deletion.

- Console → Support or app → More → Support: send a ticket with a subject and message; replies appear there and by email.
- The help centre is the reference for every feature; this tutorial is the path through them.
